Steve Mason practices general civil litigation, having handled a wide variety of matters throughout his career, including personal injury litigation, business and commercial litigation, real estate litigation, condemnation matters, contract disputes, deceptive trade practices litigation, defense of governmental entities, medical malpractice, and civil rights litigation.

Steve has been actively involved in Texas and Federal court litigation in East Texas for over 40 years. For many years, Steve worked for the U.S. Department of Justice as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Civil Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Tyler, Texas. While there, Steve earned the designation of Senior Litigation Counsel.

Steve graduated from Hillcrest High School in Dallas, He received his bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and his law degree from Baylor Law School.

The vast majority of his practice has been in East Texas.

Steve desires to effectively represent companies and individuals in civil litigation and use his education, knowledge, and trial experience as a Texas attorney with integrity and professionalism for the benefit of his clients.

In his free time, Steve enjoys playing tennis, golf, and guitar.
